Position: Senior Chef

Location: Kofi Kai Restaurant, Mt Hagen

Qualifications:
– Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a senior chef role.
– Culinary qualifications and a strong foundation in kitchen management.
– Demonstrated ability to work in a high-paced culinary environment.
– Creative flair and ability to contribute to the development of new and innovative menu items.
– Experience in prepping and executing for large-scale functions and events.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure the highest quality of food production.
– Oversee menu planning, preparation, and execution in accordance with the restaurant’s
standards.
– Contribute to the development of new menu items, keeping abreast of culinary trends.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
– Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills.
– Collaborate with the management team to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
