Our Story
Highlands Bakery, a centralized commercial bakery that first opened its doors in 2021, has rapidly become a beacon of deliciousness in the Western Highlands. With a team of 60 dedicated staff, our bakery was initially established to supply Tininga’s four supermarkets with freshly baked goods. However, due to the efficiencies introduced by Sammy and his team, Highlands Bakery has expanded its reach. In 2023, we proudly serve external customers across the Western Highlands and extend our offerings into Enga, Chimbu, and the Eastern Highlands Provinces.
Our product range is extensive, featuring a delectable array of pastry and yeast products, cakes, and Kofi Kai items to satisfy diverse tastes.
Similar to Hilans Fres and Highlands Butchery, Highlands Bakery is HAACP certified. Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) is an internationally recognized method ensuring the identification and management of food safety-related risks. Integrated into an active food safety program, HACCP assures our customers that our food safety measures are robust. To uphold transparency, our systems undergo regular 3rd Party external audits by TQCS International, an Australian-based auditing and certifying firm.
